I had to kill my chick today

I had to kill my week old chick today, she was so sick, weak and was suffering. I know it was the right thing but it is so hard to take such a little innocent things life. had my husband help because I couldn't do it by myself. just looking for support from those who have been through this.

thank you, at least I still have seven healthy chicks and a healthy mama, that's what I keep telling myself anyways.

I had to make that decision with Candy (Chihuahua, 10yo) 6yrs ago, I still think of the events leading up to the decision. My head knows I made the right decision. When we love & have animals, it's a decision that we must make sometime or the other. Again, sorry you had to deal with it and your loss.
