This baby was hatched yesterday! Now, the kicker.
I bought some light sussex hens. I have a GLW Roo. right around 30 days, I decided to hatch some eggs. I don't think my GLW Roo is the daddy, because everything I have read said the cross would produce chipmunk patterned chicks. I knew this was a possibility for not waiting as long as I should have. Now, the chick is red all over its head and neck, and gets lighter towards the tail. Do you think this could still be a RSL? I have no way of contacting who these were bought from to ask ask bout their roo. We're keeping it, regardless, but out of curiosity....
