the fox is not getting into the run it comes and tries to but cant i have located the whole i think but not sur doing some simple tests on it tho

If you are losing birds to a predator, the means you are using to contain the birds is not predator proof. It's that basic.

But if you are doing SSS to a predator, don't forget the third S.

well went to my friends house today and found the hole to the fox what we did it put sticks on there a certin way and wen me and her sister went out there i saw likle a dog thing reddish too run away from the hole and the sticks were moved so her dad will be calling my dad about it

Sounds like a gray fox. They look red. The red fox is full-bodied and has a white tip at the end of it's tail.
Either way, it's time for mr. fox to die.

put a stick on your side of the trap most fox will step over the stick and into the trap sticks on the side of the trap kina in the shape of a V small end at the trap will guide their feet as well fox are stupid they are easy to catch

the dirt hole set was described in a previous post the " flat set" works good too

Sounds like a gray fox and THOSE are often the protected species. No fox killing until you get it confirmed that it's legal in your state/area.

thx for all the good advise i have figured out why we have had soo many foxes a wildlife rebilitator is dropping animals off right behimd my house so my dad and neighbor are boobytrapping the woods as they would call it lol

ChickenAlgebra, I'm curious as to what state you live in that you can't kill fox causing depredation? Only state I can think of might be North Carolina???
