I hate it when people call Thanksgiving "turkey day"

On a lighter note the Turkey I cooked on Nov 22nd looked like this


And this little guy was Thankful he wasn't old enough to go into the oven

I was considering trying to sneak one pair lol but my yard is pretty small and the neighbors are very close. How much space do you think they need and how loud would one or two birds be?

males are really loud you could get a female though they are quite gentle birds

Do you think one female turkey would be content living in the same coop with 5 chickens (all female)?

of course i raised my female turkey with chickens and i just recently added a older male turkey and even male turkeys are nice they are just really loud. you could get two girls to keep the other one company as well. turkeys are a joy to add to your flock
