I HATE packing!!!!

That's what I think about moving!
I have moved too, too, too many times. And, as a ministers wife, I'm afraid the moves are not over with!
I do have a few tips: (You may already know these)

box it by room...not what will fit in the box from the whole house...

did that one before.
Labels...a sharpie is my best friend. LITERALLY!

AND....In 2 or 3 boxes which you keep with you at all times...whether in your car or truck your person is in.....
place a pot, a spatula, silverware (enough for your family), glasses, plates, a few groceries for quick meals...NON-PERISHABLE...then in another box...soap, towels, shampoo, 2 complete changes of clothes for adults...4 for children....hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste...etc....
Those boxes will be your best friend for the next coupla weeks.

Best wishes! Be careful, and try not to stress too much!
At least you don't have to jump out of the car, with vomit stained clothes, after a 6 hour trip, crying children, a storm brewing, change clothes and rush to church...that night....to minister before the whole section! (not just our church...it was a fellowship meeting) Oh, and the vomit...it was the dog's.

I moved 8 times in 5 years, but that was years ago, and I only had a fraction of the stuff I have now and have moved at least three times since then. One of those was during record-breaking heat.

So I feel your pain ;-).

During one of those moves, I bought a heavy-duty tape dispenser that uses the wide, clear tape and has a cutting blade on it. This and a huge magic marker are indispensible.
