Do you have a voodoo doll you could jab a pin in?

HaHa .. i think i might just make one .... lol ... i wouldn't mind but she was sooooo nice about telling me all about the breed HAHAH

Well, I was ok with her response until the very last sentence. Really, what can she do to you? Just for her snarky response, file a paypal dispute.

I would leave some BAD feedback for that EBAYer.

I bought some turkey eggs from someone on ebay and over half were broken and the ones i got were not fertile. I payed like 15 bucks for these eggs and got a "store credit" for 3.50.

i won't be using my "store credit" any time soon.

They do have to guarantee fertility, and they are responsible if their product is not packaged right. Loose air cells is a shipping problem, which may or may not have happened if they were packed properly. I would file a dispute with paypal.

I agree her response could have been better, but I think you will find most sellers don't guarentee the hatch. Granted if they weren't packed well that certainly didn't help and she should have packed them better. I don't guarentee a hatch rate either when I sell eggs. There are too many things that the postal service puts them thru that I've got no control over. Plus I have no control over how someone incubates them. I do pretty much constantly have my bators going with eggs tho so I can keep tabs on how fertility is doing. That way I know if I've got good fertility here I know it was not my eggs that are the issue if someone doesn't get a good hatch.

sounded like a jerk by the response but what did your email to her look like.

Also, I've noticed shipped eggs are 50% less fertile than what you normally would get from your own coop. Some birds like the BCM's have a very low hatch rate no matter what you do

Hatching shipped eggs is always a toss up. buyer beware.
