I HATE SQUIRRELS! AND THEY ARE NOT CUTE!

I cant stand them. They chewed a hole in my garage and are living in the wall. I have 2 small live traps that I catch them in non stop. Its hard to keep up with such a large population of them. Like others have said... Rats with fluffy tails!!!

I've rehabbed a number of squirrels .. 2 just last fall after Hurricane Ike ..

I just made a video of our rehab journey today!

They are cute .. however very smart and destructive ..

Have eaten squirrel too .. very good!

Squirrel are the roof rats that you see listed on the containers of rat poison. They are rats with bushy tails. The reason they don't want you relocating them seven miles away is they don't go to live in a tree they basically head straight for a house and try to break (chew) in. So basically a 22 or a course in underwater swimming which is quite hard to graduate from in a havaheart trap is the way to go.

I'm kinda wondering. If you eat them & think they're rats; do you eat rats too? lol!
I've never had one do damage to my property, just my finger. They bypass the open chicken food and scratch to try and chew their way into the peanuts. Made it in once. Had to buy a new can. The cats and chickens pretty much keep them in the trees.

Imp- buys about 200 lbs of peanuts a year for the bushy tailed rats

A squirrel is basically RAT with a bushy tail

They are evil. They steal my strawberries, my apples and my pears. They dig up annuals just to make sure there isn't anything tasty buried under them. They even stole all my lemon cucumbers last year.

My stupid neighbor feeds them so we have a huge population. Since the houses are so close together, shooting them is out of the question.

Oh..and this is what happened to all of my patio furniture cushions....
