I have a hen that sounds like she's got fluid in her throat. She's panting and i can hear it rattling.

I would treat her for sour crop. If you're located in the US you can buy miconazole vaginal cream anywhere they sell women's hygiene products. Use it right out of the tube. I usually put a good glob on my finger and pry open the beak and wipe it off inside the mouth.

Do this twice a day. If there's no improvement after three days, give three times a day for seven days.

You don't need an antibiotic for this, but in the future you can buy them online as fish antibiotics. Here's a good source. https://www.kvsupply.com/item/aqua-mox-250mg-capsules-100-count/P06184/

I treated the crop with diflucan which is a rx yeast infection medication. Its been 3 days and she is still sounding pretty bad. She coughed this am once and sounded like a lot of fluid or congestion or something. Crop is empty in the am and she is eating and laying and acting pretty normal. She shakes her head when she bends over to eat like she trying to shake something out of her throat or mouth. I am not sure to think crop or resp infection. I feel like she does smell a little funny but not sour. more like when babies get that white gunk in their neck. Very mild and cant really tell if it is something I am imagining. I have wormed her a few weeks ago and again 2 days ago. I don't think she has diarrhea. So I keep going with the yeast medication or would it be worth trying antibiotics. I could try oregano ? I have heard that it is a natural "antibiotic"

Try increasing the diflucam to three doses a day. I'm currently battling a stubborn yeast infection in one of my older hens (nine years), and the idea is to keep the crop supplied with the anti-yeast med continuously.

Adding an antibiotic to the mix right now would only aggravate the yeast, if it's what's behind her symptoms. Give it two or three more days at the higher dose. If there's no change, and if the crop seems to be emptying by morning, then you could stop the yeast treatment and switch to an antibiotic.

If you suspect a respiratory illness, Tylan 50 given orally twice a day at .5ml would be the best med to use. If you're in Californa, you'll need a prescription. Maybe Oregon, too. Other states, none required. Or if you're not in the US, this is all moot.

I am in colorado. Where can i get it for a decent price? what is it treating and do you think its curable. Can I buy Tylan capsules and divide the dose and sprinkle on a piece of fruit etc/. What would be the dose for that? I can also get fish erythromycin from my local pet store that would be available right away.
