I have a mixed flock, but this one’s unique?

I think I have one bearded female too though, I’ll have to take pictures of all my females and post them.

I only have 20 or so chickens. 3 Roos if I count His son.

But his son and the 6 Olive eggers I just added over summer (and are just now at Laying age) used to be our free range flock away from all the others so I know the third Roo and the 6 Olive eggers are not a factor in figuring out where “Miss reverse bald eagle” came from

I only added the third rooster and 6 of his hens to put big coop for this bad winter storm. And they’ll prob stay there for winter

What a unique and beautiful flock! His tail has the pretty green shimmer my Cemani roo has. Will be watching, what knowledge to be gained - amazing!

So we are calling her “miss reverse bald eagle” did she come from an egg like this then you think?

This should help with trying to only hatch what is the most likely to be similar at this point? While I’m waiting on her to start laying.

I remember hatching eggs that looked like this and I know my buff Orpington and white leghorn eggs don’t look like this. So I feel like my hunch is correct to try and hatch ones like this to start with.

Ok I’m taking pictures tomorrow , I’ll post them and label all my chickens. So I can get a handle on what I have. If I can get another chicken that looks like her I will probably do something like the “clan mating system”. I’m learning as I go here.
