The body shade. The "White".Are you talking about the red around the neck? Or the shade of "white" on the rest of the chicken?

NoI think #2 has the same leg color as Eagle? Is that significant?
I have no idea what genes contributed to this color of Polish, and I have not (yet) looked up anything about them. But it at least serves to show that it’s possible to get a chicken with a white body and a colored head. Something interesting to look into anyway.
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/black-crested-white-polish-in-the-us.1505575/Ok, this may not be the answer, but I was scrolling through old photos in this Polish thread, and came across some “black crested white” Polish chickens. They reminded me of Eagle, so I wanted to link to that discussion.

So, it doesn't have to be hunted down.
You're welcome.Thank you so much!!
The difference is, Eagle has phaomelanin in her head and white on the body. The Polish are silver all over their body and have melanin on their head.Ok, this may not be the answer, but I was scrolling through old photos in this Polish thread, and came across some “black crested white” Polish chickens. White with a black head (like silver Lakenvelders and those polish) is pretty well understood. So is white with a red head (gold birchen + dominant white). However, Eagle is an interesting combination of different patterns, as she shouldn’t be able to have that amount of black and that amount of red all concentrated in one area with the rest of her body being white (plus blue(?) feathers, which shouldn’t exist on a chicken with that much black, since blue itself is black with a dilution gene).Ok, this may not be the answer, but I was scrolling through old photos in this Polish thread, and came across some “black crested white” Polish chickens.
