I HAVE A PIP! Silkied Ameraucanas & Wheaton Marans, New Picts 2-6.

I am so sorry about the Silkie Ameracaunas, and very happy about the Wheaton Marans. I have some of Pasofinofarms and I think she is just terrible!

She posted an auction for her BlueWheaton Ameracaunas and now I want them too. Isn't that awful of her to tempt me like that? Cruel
Sheesh they are pretty.

Don't look Kathy or your a goner! I know you, you'll get em! My finger is just a millimeter away from pushing the button too.

Sorry to hear about your silkied ameraucanas

Congrats on the wheatens. I have have 4 little wheaten marans guys hatched out several days ago, they are adorable little yellow fluffballs. You will love yours. One of mine is so tiny it looks like a dwarf compared to the others lol.

First I must say ... from this hatch, there was 100% fertility! Every single egg showed development. Fertility was good, hatch was >>>>

Well, all 6 Wheaton Marans are running around in the hatcher now. I am so very pleased with that hatch .. 6 out of 7 is great! I will take a picture here shortly.

The Silkied Ameracaunas, so sad about that ... They must be tough to hatch or something. Julie said she has sent out other eggs, and no one had a hatch before. Every egg was fertile, and started. Two actually made it to the finish line, but didn't pip.

I have those graphic pictures, of all the eggs, too. BUT, I have to look on the bright side. .... I got 3 of them last week to hatch! Look at these little cuties (from last week) ...

I'm soooo sorry to hear that Kathyinmo - I was rooting for you extra hard!

We just set 8 of the 10 Jubaby sent, two had extremely 'shaken' eggs with detached air sacks.

I saw OnTheSpot yesterday, I think her second try are still progressing well so far. Fingers crossed for her!!

im so happy the hatch worked out unfortunatly i only have 2 roosters and 3 hens of laying age but they are nice feather leg form davis and cottage hill lines , the davis rooster that runs the place is a big bird but very friendly ,so the Fertility should be real good . i have 14 in the bator due wednesday this week and 3 chicks from that same cross i hope they mature corectly . i picked threw and culled about 8 roosters to get the 2 i kept .it took 11 months to incubate, hatch, grow up and lay eggs them selves
so its a slow proscess for me .....i hope to have a flock of 8 hens and 2 roo and alternate the hens (cull) to increase egg color if i can ....
great news on your hatch you must know your way around a incubator and id love to know what u use ....
congrats on the great hatch

Ha ha ha! (that's my evil laugh in case you can't tell) I have 7 lovely Blue Wheaten Ameraucana eggs from pasofinofarms in my incubator as we speak ( or post or whatever . . .)! Don't you wish you had some too? Come on, you know you want them! There, aren't I so helpful in helping you resist the urge to GET MORE EGGS? 14 days left to go - I'm going to candle Monday and see what's going on in there.

Something good hopefully!
