I have an old dresser I want to turn into a brooder this weekend. Looking for some tips to make it a little easier?

I would take all the drawers out, put the dresser on it’s back so the openings face up, and use a hammer or saw to knock out the bits that the drawers sit in. It would make a large enough brooder for a while, but you would have to figure out how to keep birds from flying out when they begin trying to fly. Maybe some HC over the top?

Is there a solid bottom, or is just open? If it’s just open, you could use hardwire cloth to make a wall you can see through as well.
