I have no after christmas bills!

Well my kids got way more then they usually do and I spent more then I wanted but not as much as I thought I would if that makes any sense. I have been shopping deals and eBay since september. So they ended up having more then they normally would. I ended up buying more the week before christmas for all 7 of them or else I would have stayed within our buget. I bought things that would entertain all of my munchkins so I would have more free time for the new sewing machine my Dad bought me. Anyways Congratulations to all of you that stayed in your budget I hope to do better next year.

My husband and I decided not to exchange gifts this year. I kept the grandkids under control and the boys and their wives got things they needed. Everyone seemed happy and it was cheaper than it has been in a long time.

Today I got my granddaughters birthday because I found leapster games buy OBGO at toys-r-us. That and a case for her leapster I spent 42.00 and got her an almost 70.00 gift.

best thing it is an educational toy.

this was my first Christmas working in 6 years. So I enjoyed having my own paycheck to use and buy gifts with.
Needless to say everyone got something that they would not have if I wasnt fortunate enough to have my job. Plus I did most of my shopping via Etsy. Didnt set foot in the mall. Everything arrived on time. And I wasnt stressed out. Great feeling

Like cackle, my husband and I did not exchange gifts this year.

We bought for several nieces and nephews and it is all paid for.

Debt is too big a burden for me. I don't handle it well.

Great find!!
I found a $70 Puma jacket on clearance for $25 (for my mom, who is an avid runner and Puma wearer). Now, in the past, I would have thought to myself, I only spent $25 so I need to find other stuff to make it $50 or $75. Not this year! I bought her the jacket she wanted and it doesn't matter how much I paid for it!!

I don't have Christmas bills...we did a small x-mas this year...I think I spent less than $100 for everyone. On the other hand, with DH's hours and pay being cut back in November (about $1000/month all together), I still had to put some of our bills on the credit card this month, which I HATE doing. Oh well, 5 more months and I'll be out of school and rolling in dough! (I hope).
