I have to shed two roos. Please help decide?

Oh, man! Please don't tell me I have to change the title of the topic to THREE roos!

Here are the hatchmates:

Alright, well that just tears it. I suppose it'll get easier after the first one. So, I suppose I'll research how to integrate a couple of mature hens into the mix. I'd love an 11 to 1 ratio.

Any more opinions about which roo? Other than who has already helped out?

I would find new homes for everyone but the cochin he has been top roo all along isn't human agressive. The others personalities will change if they take over the top spot. Besides he is beautiful

jmho. He already takes care of the ladies knows his place & what he is supposed to do.

Thanks, that's what I'm leaning toward. He's quite a gentle giant at this point. He comes over to observe if I pick up any of the hens, etc. but has never been aggressive with people or the other chickens, with the exception of doing his business, that is.

I'd love to be able to keep the leghorn, because of what he's been through. Here he is sleeping on me during his recovery phase:

Maybe I'll try to re-home the two Orpies and call it a day.

Okay, I'll do that. Cochin it is. I did have a goal of perhaps eventually breeding replacements who would be great egg-layers, so I'll still try to hold onto the Leghorn, who seems quite content in his place.

Thanks!
