Thank you

He is an LF, but he's still young so he has some growing to do. I don't breed polish, and he is actually a second generation hatchery boy! The woman I got him from couldn't keep him because she needed some "new blood". Her loss

I will be breeding him to silkies to try to get a sort of reverse paint silkie.

I haven't posted on this thread is so long but I'm still reading and enjoying all the beautiful birds posted here!

Here's some pictures of our last hatch. They're about 5 months. I have a hen that loves to pick crests on the boys that will let her! Drives me crazy, the boys sit there like she's giving them a massage!

I was surprised when I got Gold Laced. I only have Silver Laced. Learned they carry both Silver and Gold genes. I got two Gold laced pullets and one Silver Laced cockerel but I need to get him away from my hen that gives free haircuts to see how his crest is going to be.

Too bad his lacing sucks.

This boy would have lots of white....evidentley my little plucker likes white feathers.

This is one of my hens. She's my favorite, such a good girl. I have her daughter and she's even prettier, here she is when she was a couple of months.

OK, enough pics, thanks for looking!

Moon child, look up Dick Horstmsn on the net. He has bearded silver laced polish bantam chicks. I got a few from him last year and am very happy with them.

He also is on BYC and had a posting for this year's stock last month. Best way is to call him. I have 16 wc black bantam polish coming my way this spring when they hatch! Cant wait! He said they are from the best bantam polish stock in the country in his opinion.

Hi everyone. I have a bantam polish that hasn't layed an egg yet. Today I found a large white egg in my nesting box. My lf silver laced wyandottes lay a large brown egg. This white egg was the smae size. My question is will a first egg big that big?
