I have to talk POLISH!

did you want Full size of Bantum?
Here are two names I dug up.

mycutekitties (Sarah) in Modesto, Calif. They are bantam.

Gretchen of Bare Necessities, screen name here is Bare Gretchen maybe ... They are standard size and buff laced and tolbunt chicks
I prefer standard size (large fowl). Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can get some frizzle Polish hatching eggs?

Check the Polish Breeders website for breeders that may be close to you. Also several of the breeders have websites you can check their birds out on.

Or you could put a wanted ad in the classifieds.

We have some frizzles in my tolbunt groups, but other than that just 1 blue hen in the BBS group.

You are going to want to figure out what your goal is before getting any. Do you want to show them or mainly just pets- that will change who you get them from.

I checked the polish breeders club website but I couldn't find a members directory. I'll keep looking. It seems like there should be one somewhere.

I don't plan to show, but I would like to get some that are nice quality. mycutekitties has some absolutely gorgeous bantams. But shipping eggs from CA to Florida seems awfully far. Plus, I still hope to find some standard size.

Thanks! If you look at the Polish Breeders Club website you might find some info under the forums. Look under "Forums" then "for sale".

Hey guys, a few months back, i asked what would result from a male buff laced and a female silver laced, and got the answer that females would b silver laced, and males would b buff laced. I hatched an egg

from them and got a quirky little pullet that is white with black streaks on a couple feathers and greenish blue legs! Does this mean the parents are carrying wonky genes? Lol

She's Splash, I think but it looks like she has a little bit of red in there....what a little cutie.

Edited: I don't think they are autosexed like you said. On another post here on BYC someone answered a question about this and this was one of the answers "1. (Assuming the silver laced hen does not carry a gene called dilute (I've read that some silvers do).
Gold laced male over silver laced hen would give gold laced pullets & males carrying one silver & one gold gene & possibly other autosomal red type genes. ....which would look rather messy."

She looks a lot like my Polish roo over a top hat hen. I have 3 almost all white hens and one that got a little lacing and her white is a very light gray.
Were I seemed to have hit a sex link gene was the buff laced polish on my silver spangled Hamburg hens...that was an ooops.

Do you have any pictures of that mix. I am thinking of using silver spangled hamburgs in a mix that will continue their productivity and good foraging with a little dash of friendliness. I have a young gold laced polish rooster, who thinks his sole purpose is to be held by the person who feeds him. I am think one day in an environment with less rooster crowing he may discover his other purpose.
