well bigdaddysmom i guess i'll just leave. i wish you luck in your breeding endeavors since me advice is obviously not appreciated. i hate fighting with people, especially ones i've never met and i don't want to get into anything with a fellow chicken lover. i hope this thread isn't closed for your sake. maybe if an "experienced" person gives you the same advice you'll listen. good luck and i do mean that sincerely.

I think my goal in breeding Polish is to be able to reproduce a particular color or pattern over and over again, and maybe just polish up the color or pattern a bit. But everyone has a goal. Even tho I'm not into SQ, I would certainly like to learn more about it, and how to keep a Polish looking like a Polish, LOL. I learn alot when someone who breeds for SQ posts a pic and explains what's good or not good about a particular bird.

I couldn't get on the Polish thread-- said it was closed? Anyway, I have a question for your Polish experts! I ordered all White Crested BLACK Polish. But now that they are 3 weeks-- close to 4 weeks old... they have all split up into half look like they should and half still have a lot of white in them. I'm posting pics- tell me your best guess on what happened!

What should I expect when I cross my golden laced pullet with my wcb cockeral? Wcb with leakage?


Hawkeye, if you go by the standards, their bodies should be solid black, but I think they will be beautiful when they are older.
Right now, they are cute!
