I have to talk POLISH!

Pics
Illia, don't be too concerned about seeing anything at 3 days, (but you probably know this). I save myself the feeling of let down when I candle early, I do wait the 7 days to see positive growth. (but you probably know this)

I'm a pretty experienced candler, I marked all but two as fertile on day 2. Day 3 was correct though. Candled again today and still the same, so, just to be completely safe I'm culling in another couple days but not today.

Can't wait for the hatch though.

In the mean time, I'm waiting to finish this guy for the freezer. He's very young and still kinda small, but is sexually maturing FAST. He crows, he tries mounting, he challenges others girl or boy, and is a pain, so, he's separate right now. I'm not going to have him causing even more of a trouble, I've already got a chain of roosters in the main laying flock right now, all crested breeds, one more dominant or submissive than the next. It's crazy. But right now I don't have the supplies to separate everyone perfectly. I have enough pens going though to separate any unwanted males from the girls I'm currently collecting of.

So despite this guy's terrible faults, he's got a nice breast that will make good food.

that guy looks downright EVIL.

Lol! That's not Ferb but it was Nosey Chickens cuckoo. Ferb was right next to the white polish u have a pic of. That white polish is the breeder of who I got Ferb and my wc blue hen from (Cynthia Smith). Also that wc black frizzle boy is mine! He is only 7 months old. He got 1st and BV!

Omg hahaha, well don't I look foolish now. Although you know I was terribly torn by who was who.
Congrats on your wcb! He looked so SOOOO cool. Mark and I are dying for one now especially after seeing that guy

I would like a cuckoo for my flock. Here are a few of my group.

White- One has some black flecks so she may be considered splash....?

Here is my blue hen. I may be culling her. She may be part sultan. She has five toes and feathered feet

And these are the two young roos I mentioned. A splash and a silver laced.

Sorry, he insisted on an extreme close-up.

Any input or advice would be welcome!

I think I might have found a source for breeder/show quality LF Buff Laced Polish here in California.

But I thought I would go ahead and ask here too if anyone has good quality birds available? I would love to see pictures!
