ive seriously have had little luck with my polish this year.
ive tryed not to use the incubator as much this year but seems im headed in that direction.
Gonna try and resist using the incubator urge but seems ima bout to get a lil crazy & get my hatch on

Well, after having a cuddle this evening Chuck answered my questions himself, lol. He has lil spur bumps showing. Sadly, he needs to be re-homed. Anyone in California is welcome to him. I just don't think he will ship well so a long distance won't be wise. Thank you for the help!!! My son is in love with Frankie so I am excited she gets to stay!!!!

Thank you, for the complements.
I no longer carry laced varieties of polish,
Just white crested blues and blacks & bearded whites.

What I've kept back well They're all older stock and are not producing as well as I planned
My bearded whites haven't produced anything at all this spring :'(
They decided to randomly molt on me

Haven't posted in a while, how is everyone and their polish coming along this year ???

Got to the 2nd gen in my Tolbunt project, that's how it is going here. They should mature to laying age within 2 months, however I'm not expecting any eggs for 4 months or more, seeing how long it took the F1's last year.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. LOVE all of your Polish, previous laced and current White (cresteds) Too bad they are Bantams, as I always say.

Some pictures of my Tolbunt flock - they are almost 7 months and have just started laying...well at least 2 of them! My interest is in improving the breed and will be working with some well respected breeders to do so.

I have 2 smooth hens (when got her crest all wet before the pictures!), 1 frizzle hen and the roo.


I've also got 8 grow-outs, about 2 1/2 months...can't wait to see how they develop!

Love the first hen, am crazy about the color of that frizzle. Very nice.

She especially should carry on some good coloring and hopefully fix the male coloration issue in a couple generations I'd imagine. (line bred to her, which I know is risky)
