I heard that people use Apple Cider Vinegar in their chicken water?
Is this a good idea to mix in their water?
I want to try adding a bit, but I want to know if this has good benefits or if its bad.

I use apple cider vinegar in my flocks water. It's benificial for healthy birds. mine had sores on their waddles and it helped clear up the infection

Welcome! Some people use it, and some of us never have. The birds don't seem to care either way! Fresh clean water is what they need, not frozen in winter. Extra flavorings are overrated, IMO. Mary

I think changing water daily if not more often keeps the water clean too.

I have never used it and never will...Fresh water 24/7 is all they need...Too much hype put on certain additives without proof they actually help?...

It's supposed to have some health benefits for digestion and vitamin absorption, I did use it when I was brooding my chicks but didn't continue once they transitioned outside. Don't use ACV it if you have a metal waterer or metal parts (i.e. nipples) in the waterer as the acidity will eventually corrode it.

I love using ACV in my water! It cleans it out like @Snoozeys said and many more reasons!
