I joined the Scrambled-Pocket-Egg Club today

I am in this club for sure, I went to work with an egg in my pocket, didn't realize it, couldn't figure out why my leg was wet until I put my hand into my pocket, ewwwwww! lol

I'm a member too, in fact it happened last week......only I managed to mash 3 eggs, but I still had 7 good ones. (Both of my jacket pockets were full.) Thankfully the last time was quite a while ago.

A number of years ago I had a dear friend do the same thing, only with cherry tomatoes. I had an elderly couple living next door and one year I had a BUMPER crop of cherry tommys growing all along my fence. They were growing through the fence on both sides and just going crazy. Several times I took 'maters to these folks, and told them they were also welcome to come pick all they wanted.
Bless Mr. Nichols' heart......one day while I was at work, he came over, filled his pockets and while going across his backyard, stumbled and fell. He laughed so hard when he told me about his pocket full of tomato sauce. Once I learned he hadn't been hurt, then we both laughed.
Hadn't thought of that in years.......thanks for the good memories.

LOL did this the other day. Put the eggs in my hoodie pocket...completly forgot about them walked around the house for about an hour then leaned against the counter to reach something. Pop Pop Pop. oh man!!!!!

I was doing my morning housekeeping of the 2 coops and found an egg buried in the shavings. I slipped it into my jacket pocket and finished my job. When I came in the house I put my jacket on the computer chair and continued on with my indoor chores. Later I sat down to work on the computer. You guessed it. There was a soft crunch and wet sticky mess under my butt. I knew immediately what I'd done. It took a while to clean the chair, my pants and inside the pocket. I looked around for someone to blame......but there was only me. HA! The curse of living alone. There's a distinct lack of suspects.

Ahhh yes...the ever dreaded pocket omelette!! Have done this more than once

and will probably continue to do so until it's warm enough for me to not have to wear the darn jacket. When it's shorts and T-shirt weather (will summer EVER show up again by the way?) I seem to have a lack of pockets.
