If your chick does have coccidiosis, medicated starter will not take care of this. You will need to use amprolium or Corid in the water for 5 days. Do not feed medicated starter while they are on Corid. And if they have been vaccinated for cocci, do not use medicated starter as it can cancel out the vaccine.
Make sure the chick is drinking and eating. Don't assume she is. Watch her to see if she is. Dip her beak in the water, chopped up hard boiled eggs make great emergency food for chicks and they can live on them for several days during illness.
