Update

I'm sorry I haven't read the replies yet. I'm in shock. I'm in shock. On the way home from getting my aircon refitted I decided not to go to the bank. I decided to go home early so I could bury my babies.

I shouldn't have gone home early.

On my street I saw a head on collision., They had to bring in the jaws of life. Both drivers didn't make it.

I saw it all.


.... I'm so stunned. I... too many dead bodies. Too many dead bodies... I've seen too many. I buried my hen and ducklings. They are under the windowsill.

I need...time... a project... I'm going to paint the henhouse.

I couldn't live like that with people in MY home making me miserable. It is not worth your mental health or peace of mind. I know you are trying to be kind and help those folks out, but why does that have to fall on your shoulders? Can't they get assistance from the government? I think I would at the very least get rid of the 2 lazy people and perhaps keep the man who has been helpful. That way you are still helping but not paying a price for it. They are not following the rules of YOUR home. OUT they go! That's just my thoughts on it. I can't stand stupid or lazy people. Sorry for your babies, how sad for them all. Poor babies drowned cuz someone wouldn't listen to you, or too dumb to follow directions. Vent all you need too. We are here and listening.

And the freezer was full of meat chicks one of my hens pecked to death overnight as well as the babies my duck killed when she had her first hatch. Both were flukes but both cost about 5-10 lives each. So that's why there was a 'freezer full'. It was a year worth of burials stacked up.

My husband is being incredibly attentive right now as well... he's thinking of coming home since I saw the accident as well.

Thank you for asking me. I am not really okay. My hands are all shaky and I feel like crying and bawling but I also feel like painting and screaming... and I don't... thank you. Thank you SO much for asking.

Oh and whe I got home, the 'bad housemates' grabbed and held me and let me cry and brought me things and held me tightly some more; they comforted me greatly. They are staying. We all make mistakes.
