I just love that I can now post in this section!!!

7chickininas - the girls start out laying small, and then the eggs get larger and larger over time. It takes a few months for them to get geared up to produce larger eggs. Hope this helps!

I got another from Boo today. It was brown but the bottom had a little bit of white on it and the top had brown speckles. It's funny lookin.
 
Another EE laid her first today. Right in the middle of the chicken yard, it's like she laid it in the middle of a dust bath. The last time I checked Purdy was in the nest box so that'll make it 3 eggs for the day.

I can smell your southern breakfast from here!!! Congrats on the eggs! Probably nearer to Christmas for my first ones, then the NC wind will carry the bacon and egg smell your way
