We have a rabbit cage as a brooder, but since I'm now an addict....I picked up a large plastic tote and use that as a second brooder. It was only $12, and we cut part of the top out of it and attached a lamp and some hardware cloth.
It was cheap and easy.
I may have to use a temporary tote. My only other option is to use a pond liner shell I have stored in my garage. I've used it once before as a brooder and it worked out great. The only problem is that it's huge, and the last time I used it, it was set up in my dining room. lol. I guess today I'll be cleaning out a spot in my garage for set up.
