Our first egg is pipping!!!

Is it normal that they did it in two different spots? One is off to the side at the top, the other is closer to like the lower middle area, opposite where the top one was. I need to look up how to upload photos so I can share too!

Lol...chicks do poop and often! No I don't feed kiwi either. For the first week I use paper towels on top of the shavings. That gets changed twice a day. I also sprinkle chick starter on the paper to entice them to start eating. Crazy me just set another 6 dozen eggs today....

Uploading pics is easy. Grab a digital camera and save them to your computer. Use a free hosting site like photobucket to upload the pics to the net. Once you upload them, all you have to do is click the IMG link and copy/paste to your message.

I feel so bad for Peep...she just always tries so hard to snuggle up to the other chicks and nuzzle under their wings but they won't let her. She eats and drinks and runs about a little but she's getting more sleepy it seems

What can I do for her beyond cuddles? Anything?

I have 2 of 4 so far. One is a Frizzle Cochin roo over a Silkey, and a FCR and a buff Polish. Should be realy strange birds. No pictures as they are just hatched in a 30 degree henhouse. Little black guy looks really good.

No change on the pipped Serama egg although can hear it chirping...lost the little buff orp this morning, but just hatched out one of the Sex-Link crosses!!!!!!

Think it's a Columbian Rock/Sex-Link though...guess Sammy wanted to be sure of some offspring before we moved him out lol
