I just told my daughter to steal a sick rooster!!! Pic Heavy!!!

You're cooking the egg yolk, right??? If so, it'll be unrecognizable even if by mistake an egg should crack and she sees the yolk inside. I found the easiest thing (when I was nursing my sick chicken with similar foods) was to si=ort of poach it: get some water simmering and crack the egg in and simmer till the yolk is just set. Then mash it all up together, white and yolk. I sometimes mixed a little yogurt or mushy feed in as well.

I'm cheating and doing the quickie microwave version of poached eggs. The whites are soft and the yolk is just set. And yes, it's all mashed together. I am off to go find some probisis. I am more worried about leaving her for half an hour than I was any of my babies.

I totally understand.... I didn't get a lick of work or housework done while our hen was sick!!!

What's the procedure for microwaving eggs? In a bowl or something? They don't explode? Sounds like a trick I need to know!

Good luck to you!!!

I think you have to poke a hole in the shell...You can buy probiotics in the pet shops too. We have some in the bird aisle and in the small animal section too. it's only a couple of bucks for the tubes of it.
Scrambled might be good too because the yolk gets all mixed in.

My girls love cooked frozen corn. Would that be a bad thing to try feeding her right now? Also cottage cheese mixed up with oatmeal is a treat. What about cooked rice??
Just ideas.

She looks great and Ill bet she knows how much you have helped her too!! she will be a lovely pet!!
Try giving her a garden worm!!! good ol fashioned high protein!!!
good luck and wishing her a speedy recovery!
