Scratch isn't the best food for them anyways, so that might be part of the explosive splort...I'd keep a spoon just for Tira and put a bit of the yoghurt on it and put it right on the tip of her beak...I've fed Slifer that way...

Tiramisu doesn't seem to be doing as well today. She is sitting on the perch under the brooder lamp, but I can't entice her to eat or drink. And her eyes don't seem to be as bright and alert as yesterday. I am really concerned about her!! My heart is just breaking for her.

Darn...I'd keep dipping her beak in the water and the yoghurt...comeon Tira, we know you can do this...You may have to go out and get some bird handfeeding formula and feed her that way.

She took a few microscopic nibbles of the yogurt, and very small amount of water. I just got back from the vet who gave me some Nemex to treat worms. When Jess gets home from Chemistry, we will get it down her. Her comb is even MORE floppy and not standing up barely at all now and even seems paler to me and the skin around her eyes which was bright red yesterday and this morning seems to be getting paler. Is her heart giving out???? I am so anxious for this gal!! My heart is so heavy at the thought she may not make it. Please be praying.

And if anyone has suggestions, I'll do anything!

Pale comb could be parasites, worm her and see how she does. We're keeping our fingers crossed!
