I would take it very slow. I had 2 children with my high school sweetheart. started dating at 14 and married him within 2 weeks of turning 18. The marriage lasted a year. My current husband adopted my 2 kids and my x hadnt had contact for over 10 years. He lived in a different state. He stared seeing the kids about a year ago. I love my husband very much, but seeing someone you had strong feelings for is very hard to deal with. I know where my place is and what I want but it still doesnt stop my heart from just about leaping out of my chest when I see him, and he is the same way. But it would never work. Moral to the story sometimes our heart just isnt enough to work, but it sure will make us jump before we think! Get to know each other first, the man you loved then might not be the same man now, or you might not be the same.
