You are right. We are already "house shopping" in Texas (where we will be going) and getting very excited about it. I already made the stipulation that we have to be allowed to have chickens!!!!

My X MIL did the same thing when my x husband was stationed at Lejuene. But luckily we didnt have children together.
Every Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas a card would arrive with a plane ticket for him only. No offer for even part of my airfare. No offer to spend the holiday with them. Gosh that was a "fun" time of my life

Can you exchange an airline ticket for money. If you could thats what I would have done. Gotten the money and used it to buy a new ticket.

Sometimes we males can be real thick headed about something we should know, we need clues now and then to figure it out.

I never have figured out why she doesn't just give him gas money and let him drive there except that he might drive to Arkansas instead.
