I know it’s a rooster but what breed please

It's just kind of like a tag. he's been kind of... well I don't want to say it, but he's been in kind of like a dog fight, for chickens. My guess is that's why he's been in the shelter! But he could definitely🥰 be a sweet boy if you gave him good Luvs!
Dubbing doesn't mean a bird is being used to fight

Not all gamefowl are created equal. Some just look the part while others really are. Most people just see pretty birds “oh look at the feathers” and I get it but there’s way more to the birds than that.
SAMEEEEEEEEEEEEE I feel the same way I have a gorgeous belgan D'uccle but her heart is the most beutiful part of her.

One thing I've noticed in the chicken world is that gamecocks are looked at very much the same as APBTs. I'm not talking about the backyard bred, un-papered, mixed breed things people refer to. I'm talking the old school real game dogs.

Dubbed = fighting bird.

Cropped ears = fighting dog.

🙄

Huge misconception.

I thought that dubbing just meant that the owner was following standard?
No I didn't mean dubbing I meant that the "fighting" was just a thing to show that it was put into a roo competition which in my opinion is abuse of them, but do what you like. At least that's my vews on it

Yeah, we have that sentiment towards those dogs in our town unfortunately. Such great dogs though

I think things would run so much smoother if the people commenting actually knew WTH they were talking about and not relying on what they heard, read or even did themselves 65 yrs ago when age has clearly gotten the best of them.
Good luck to the OP with the choking game birdy roo.

I obviously don't agree with cockfighting, but I'm a bit confused what you're saying? I thought that you were saying that dubbing is like a tag to say that they were fighting.

I agree, that's what it sounds like.

Op, I'm rather confused why you think it's okay to get a rooster when just on Sunday you said you had to get rid of a male because of your council
