Believe the T is for Terrier?

American Pit Bull terrier

I believe it's still part of the standard for show birds.

Thanks... this is why I was interested in him... for showing purposes... His colours are amazing...

as for use of the collar it would be only be used instead of a blackout box as I feel cramming a rooster in a small box with little or no ventilation is down right cruel.

time out coop is sorted I have a few hens who like to throw there weight around and often get put “on there bed” for 5mins or so...

That's my best attempt at trying to figure out what APBT stands for lol
I know that pitbulls have a bad reputation for fighty stuff so that's where I landed lol

They where bred for "pit fighting". A dog fighting sport. Any Human agressive APBT was culled in the making of the breed. Creating a very human friendly, but very dog agressive breed. The APBT was used to make the AST (american staffordshire terrier), and now, APBTS are rare because the extreme prey drive and dog agression isn't ideal for a family pet.

my off topic ramble is over :)
