They aren’t the same.... cantaloupe is orange.... honeydew is green.

Thats what uneducated people call them. It doesn't mean its the right word.

it would be like only ever calling chickens "bock bocks"... not the right word.

Or like clalling every dog with a golden colored coat a golden retriever, not the right word.

its breed mislabeling and it kills.

calling random dog pit bulls, gets them killed.

Also pit bulls aren’t even allowed in Australia and a quick Google search shows tons of breeders of bull terriers in Australia so clearly not everyone calls them pits

Staffies is correct, that's the word for staffordshire bull terrier, but in short. 99% sure english staffies aren't a thing.
