I'm so sorry to hear that Hope finally lost the battle she has fought for so long. It is so wonderful of you that you took such extra good care of her. Many people would not have done so. So many little chicks died of that disease - I remember the thread well. It sounds like Hope had a great life under your loving care.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and hugs. I think her loss hurts the most because she was such a little fighter, she was a special little chicken. I'm glad i got to have her and love her for the short time I did.
