I love Ideal poultry

Tomorrow is hatch day for my red leghorns from Ideal. I have been waiting on them for a long time. I have ordered from Ideal before and I know they go the extra mile in customer service. I hope my chicks make it here by the 14th!

Really? We ordered in Feb for a late March hatch, and tried to change our order three weeks before they shipped and they said they couldn't change it. I told them to take one breed off and fill it with whatever, and they said no.

i wish i needed enough to order from them .... unfortunately i can only have 3-6 total ... so i have to stick with what I can find locally

I have to agree with all the kudos about Ideal. I ordered 10 Norwegian Jaerhon pullets and two NJ cockerels. They added 9 black sex link roos for warmth. All arrived in good health, although one ended up having a terrible case of spraddle leg. (I tried to save her, but she was just getting worse - we put her down yesterday)

My babies are two weeks old today and just wonderful.

The communications were excellent, and for a first-timer, I was really impressed.

I will continue to choose Ideal. They truly live up to the name!!!

We love Ideal as well. We ordered back in February and they all did great. We have since then lost one, on week 3-4 and we think she suffocated in her sleep, snuggling with the others. The other ones are growing and becoming beautiful girls.

I've only ordered from Ideal once, and somehow my order ended up in the wrong city! Ideal had the correct zip, but whatever company sends their turkeys messed it up. So, I had to drive almost 300 miles roundtrip to pick them up! The first person I spoke to really didn't seem to care that it took me 5 hours and 300 miles to get them! Plus, it took them 3 days to end up in the wrong city and she tried to place blame on the post office! She said all they would do is replace the ones that died. Well, 50% of them died! Luckily, I spoke to a different person when I called back to report my losses. At first, she told me that I'd have to order more to get to their minimum. However, by the end of the conversation, they agreed to cover the difference to make up for the mess. My new batch should be arriving this week, so we'll see how this goes!

I am sooooo happy Ideal Poultry I changed my order like 6 times and they were so helpful! couldn't be happier and will definitely use them in the future!
