I love October!

I put some my cornstalks up in my front garden along with two pots of mums -- red and yellow.

We had another frost this morning. Whee!!

Our fall has just started and most of our leaves are down (this whole year was abnormal).

We live in an area where there are just scrub oaks and pitch pines, so there's almost no fall color. But this past weekend, we had to drive to NY (DH's 39-year old daughter just diagnosed with cancerous brain tumor) and the color was lovely. Couldn't enjoy it much though...
