I made a Vetwrap chicken bra.

Roopeccas only bra is all torn up because he's worn it since February. I ordered 2 more but they make them to order. Its gonna be awhile before they get here. I'm trying my hand at making a quick substitute. I'll let you know how it goes!

Lavender and yellow go together well. Roopecca is a Lavender Orpington cockerel.

Well that worked out great! The only problem I have it that he can't grow feathers underneath. I'm going to fashion a new one, maybe slightly bigger, with a softer bit of cloth to go against his skin. At $3.59 for a 5 yard roll I can make lots of them cheaper than buying a premade $20 one that he can get hold of the ties and shred them. The wrap is easy enough to just squeeze the strap ends together so they can't dangle.
Bought a roll of purple for my next trial. Perfect for a Lavender Orpington.

Thank you, yes he has become quite the handsome boy despite his "special needs".
A chicken bra is to support a pendulous crop which leads to sour crop and possibly impacted crop. So my handsome boy wears a bra.
