Deb - I am so sorry. Sometimes there is nothing we can do but pray and then let go and let God. Your mother may need to hear you say that you'll be o.k. and she can go in peace if that is God's will.

Our prayers are with all of you, but please don't forget you will need the support of your friends to help you through this. It's hard being so far from family when they need you and you need them, and you have to fill that void with those who are there with you, near your, or just for you.

Deb, I am so sorry for your pain. I know you are hurting right now, you are pulled in hundreds of directions and you feel you need more time with everyone. But remember he is giving you more time right now. Take that time run with it.

I lost my mom to CHF as well (10 years ago), we didn't have no time, at 6:55 am she was laughing with my sister, sister left for work and with in 15 min she closed her eyes and died. NO time, we had no time to say good bye, she was my connected soul.

My Dad was different we lost him to lung cancer 10 years before Mom, we had a year to say good bye. Hardest part with Dad, it was watching someone you love suffer, you just get to the point that you pray that suffering ends, then ya try to live with it.

I am praying for you and your family and I am crying for you and your family. Remember the pain of losing a loved one doesn't end, but with time it changes.

All I can say is "Hang in there!"
and DO try to give your chickens some "Mom" time...YOU need it too! Cuddling with an animal can be the best therapy and relaxation for a troubled mind.
