I Need A Buyer!!!!!!!!!!

Can you husk and shell the walnuts and sell them? Maybe not a big money maker, but something the land is already producing while you get settled and make bigger plans. And, just because somebody else already does the goat milk/cheese/soap thing doesn't mean you can't do just as well. Of course, there's a bit of money needed to start up a dairy, whether it's with goats or cows.

The land is level and perfect for growing produce on. The trees are maples and walnuts. Good idea about the sale of the wood! Hmmm, parking boats might be an option! The beach is at the end of the road......the Long Island Sound!

I am not sure of the exact tree but I believe its called a black walnut tree, This tree alone sells for tons of money. We have a local farmer who won a auction on some land here he was trying to retire and was tapped out at the bank. He got this 5 acres of land that had these trees and now he is very very well off.
I will get the name and number of the farmer if you are interested in the exact trees he sold Its worth a shot I guess.

HUH??? Black walnut trees grow wild here.

I do have a secret weapon. I make beach plum jam. The beach plums are free because they grow wild. Not everybody knows where they grow and most aren't willing to pit them. The only additional ingredient is sugar. If you haven't had it before, you should. It's AMAZING! They also freeze really well.

I MADE AN OFFER ON THE 3 ACRES! Got a counter offer and will counter offer again. Fingers crossed!!!

Maybe they are not responding quickly because they want to hold you in suspense.

Then again, that is what I said about this place... but 3 days later I found out I got the response by email, and it ended up in my junk mail box somehow and I missed it! Needless to say, turned out to be a great tactic because we just said NO to their counter offer... and they ended up accepted the offer they tried to counter anyways! LOL
