Ok, I'll give a brief synopsis of how I got to this point. I had 2 sets of eggs in the bator. First set of 7 blue bantam cochin eggs from FrizzledHen. None broken on arrival, but apparently had been worked over by the po

...5 of them were scrambled. Second set of 10 Buff Orpington eggs from Hinkjc. 2 broken on arrival leaving me with 8, and again

, they apparently had been handled very roughly by the po...7 of them were scrambled. Therefore, I only have 1 BO and 2 BC eggs that I put in the hatcher today. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed

and wish me luck. I really, really, really want these chicks to hatch.

I'm practically going to be sitting on top of the hatcher for the next three days! Will update as things happen, or don't happen.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words.

The temps are staying between 100-101, humidity steady at 64%. It's going to be a long night...I know I'll be checking on them every 1-2 hours.

I don't want to leave anything to chance.
