I need Breed Advice

I ordered a mixture of old english bantams and was looking for ideas on crossing breeds.

Here is what I have so looking for any suggestions and would love to see pics of any cross results.

I have:
Red Pyle H and R
Gold Duckwing R and H
Silver Duckwing R
Splash R
BB Red H
Fawn Silver Duckwing R
Barred R
Unk R he may be a ginger red?

Best to keep the same patterns together unless you want messy leakage. I'd like to see gold or BB red duckwing x Fawn silver. If you do red/gold rooster over silver hen, you'll get sexlinked chicks. (gold females, silver-looking males.)

Kind of want to experiment really. i Thought about the fawn silver duckwing rooster with a bb red hen.

get the book "The genetics Of Chicken Colours, The basics" by Van Dort. You won't regret it. Some colors have an affinity for others. Some just create a mess. The book will help explain it. Worth every penny. www.chickencolours.com

Yes, unless you want leakage and mixed up colors, keep the same varieties separate from other varieties.
