Thank you both, although I am in FFA, these were a start up flock for breeding so I could make some extra money due to me showing goats and a heifer lol

I would get some testing if you were planning on breeding.

Well I had already buried her, but we probably wouldn't have been able to get testing done anyways, although I'm showing two goats and a cow, I'm borrowing the heifer, and through the calf scramble is the reason I was able to get the goats, which I'm actually planning on selling after show season. Its only mom and I so we're pretty tight on money... (Dad's not paying child support)

I'm sorry for your loss. You mentioned your silkie sounded a little raspy also. You should treat that before it gets worse.Hopefully, you can save her.

Yes, I'll be bringing home electrolytes tonight and we'll stop by the feed store for that tylan 50 and treat everyone just in case.

Giving the electrolytes to everyone is fine, but only treat birds that are symptomatic of respiratory disease with the Tylan50.

Antibiotics should not be use prophylactically.
