I have chickens but recently was looking at the laws and found that the distance that they need to be from my neighbors isn't right so I tried to find how I could still keep them legaly and a found that i could get a "Special Exception Permit for Chickens." It pretty much allows you too be able too keep chickens at any distance from your neighbors house unlike the usual 100ft rule. Here's a link to it https://data.kcmo.org/Neighborhoods/Special-Exception-for-Chickens-Application/8fve-iz7j and more info for it here http://kcmo.gov/neighborhoods/animals-2/licenses-2/ (scroll to the bottom). I had a few questions about it like have you done it and if so how did it work? Also how much work do you have to do downtown at city hall (the least is the best). Thank you for your time and have a nice day.
