So I bought the fan kit (love it) got instructions (basic, seems easy)
BUT for step 4 the wires are both black and the diagram shows one as clearly being on top and one clearing being on bottom (as if they are pointing toward the cords they are supposed to be attached to) BUT on my fan the wires are going UP. and I really do not want to put it on backwards if that is possible.
If someone would please let me know. I want to post my phone number so someone can call me, but I do not know if that is against the rules.
