Hi BYC. I need help choosing two names. One for a POL Hybrid Hen and one for a not-yet-hatched chick.
The hen is friendly and time. She likes strokes and cuddles! She is a RIR x Golden-laced Wyandotte. I'm thinking of the name Henrietta but I would love suggestions. Names similar to that would be good!
The chick is currently chirping inside it's egg. I had a broody hen and didn't think the one egg she was sitting on was fertile. That was, until, I decided to candle it at the same time as some duck eggs and realised it was alive. I had no Idea when she started sitting. But I knew this hen was murderous because she had hatched out a couple of chicks before and things didn't go too well. So yesterday I took the egg away and stuck it in the incubator. I heard it cheeping today so I know it won't be long before it hatches! I need name suggetions that would be fine for either gender. I have had two lone pet chicks before named Hobnob and Pipin if that helps (which it probably dosen't).
And, erm, here's a little inspiration:
Thanks!
