I need serious advice here with a tumor found in my cat *gross video/*

Coming in late but she showed NO other symptoms? Weight loss? Lethargic? Showing signs of pain? She was just spraying, right?

I am NOT an expert but cancerous tumors tend to be solid. This *sounds* like a mast tumor but I don't know. Normally they happen on the surface but can happen internally. 90% of the time it is benign though!

It is not a kindney. They are shaped more like a kidney bean in shape. I worked as a vet tech for 2 yrs. So I have seen my share. If it is cancer it would have a uneven surface not a smooth one. Most of the time. If she have kittens not long ago it could be one she started to absorb one that died in the womb. It would be in the sac but broken down that would be the brn. fuild in it. One other thing it could be the other horn/ tube that did not form right and detached from the right spot to fatty wall. If you spayed her thinking she would stop spraying you are in for a let down. In cats male or female, once they start they 99% of the time do not stop after being fixed. That is why they want you to get it done when they are young . Before they start. Good luck! The only way to find out for sure it to have the test done. I know they are alot. Maybe they would work out a payment plan . Most say they don't . But with something like that most will.

Redhen you crack me up!

I hope she is alright. I feel that she will alright. Esp. since she showed no signs of illness, and at that size, I would think that if it were cancerous, she surely would have shown some type of sign.

Those pictures of her and her baby boy are precious.........

Actually it is possible to have a "half intelligent" forum opinion based on the size and appearance of this thing as well as condition and behavior of the cat beforehand from people who have some educated background and experience. I don't think anybody here is trying to be a vet and make a diagnosis but instead are offering intelligent guesses as to possibilities in response to the OP's post.

Hi! She seems okay today.... i imagine shes still in pain from the surgery though. But shes eating/drinking some.
I have her seperated from the other cats, but man! she is soo mad at me, she wants to see her "kitten"!!

i think i'll let him in the room...but i dont want him to try to nurse on her...with her stitches there and all...
i'll just have to watch him with her...
