dunno yet. Salmon faverolles have puffy cheeks, hers are just SUPER puffy...she also has five toes and feathered feet. I love her

I would include a lot of pics of kids and their chickens of course.

You might want to go to the coop design section on this site and find pics of cute little coops in the back yard, then PM the owner of the coop and ask for permission to use the picture.

I bet the association might be afraid of how it will look to have chickens in the area, but small coops can be very cute or unobtrusive in a back yard.

There's a new book I saw in the most recent BackYard Poultry magazine, called Art of the Coop. True, there are beautiful coops with designs to match the archetecture. Ever seen the BYC page from Joel Bryant? I'm a fan.​

Also, this little lady is 12. *The person not the chicken* She is a city girl and had never been this close to a chicken before.
She thought eggs came wrapped in plastic. She now plans of getting a horse, and her own flock.
Owning hens can be life changing for some people. And in all seriousness, do we really want our kids not actually knowing where there food comes from? I know this has been said before, but honestly, this is why I have my ladys. My kids when I have them will know where food comes from.
