Another one......
I was TRYING to clean the coop. To do this, I have the large back door of the coop open, with a wheelbarrow to move out old shavings right up against it. My process of cleaning the coop is this:
Remove some old shavings/poop
put old shavings from nesting boxes into coop
put new shavings in boxes
mix together shavings in the coop and add more as needed
I had removed some of the old shavings from the coop, when they teamed up against me- Poppy went in the doorway, where I was trying to take the shavings out of, and Ruth went in the wheelbarrow, where I was trying to put the shavings. So I thought, Ok, I'll just do the nesting boxes. I opened the boxes and Round Chicken was laying an egg! Then I was like, I'll add some new shavings to the coop and maneuver OVER Poppy- and Tillie was on the shavings bag!!! Their coop got cleaned the next day.

OMFG THAT IS THE FUNNIEST!!

I had a silkie who would purposely fall out of the coop every time I opened it, just so I could pick him up, & put him back inside each time he did that.


I also had a new layer, lay an egg in the kitty pool in front of me. I had to go, & retrieve it from the water.

She groans, & shoulders us if we try to touch her. At least she hasn't started full on attacking us yet.

The Winner Is: Black Cat!!! They gave us TWO of the funniest fails (not just chicken fails) I have ever heard. I'm not discrediting the others. Those were very funny too, but Black Cat wins. Give it up for Black Cat!!

They then were like 'THIS DISPLEASES ME" so they activated helicopter mode and attempted to fly straight out of the snow. They don't know that chickens aren't helicopters, and ended up in various places around the yard.

I laughed so hard!! LOL
