I never see Muscovy Duck off her nest. Should I move her to candle the eggs?

I check on my ducks a lot. They have a good portion of the yard fenced off and I can peek over. I never see my brooding Muscovy off her nest. I know you’re suppose to remove bad eggs but I haven’t even candled them once since I have never seen her not sitting on them. Should I try to remove her to candle them? They should be hatching sometime next week.

Have you got food and water close by her? It is important they eat and drink while brooding they can get pretty run down.

Yes, but not inside the shelter. Should I a little food/water inside where she is?

I usually make mine get off at least 1X a day it's best not to put food and water too close because you want them to come off so they poop out of the nest have you looked in her nest is she really messing it up with broody poop? If not she must be coming off at times when you haven't seen her because they have to poop and boy is it nasty.
