Nightpaw's paw shot out, her claws barely glazing the fox's muzzle. She hopped back, but she wasn't fast enough, and the fox grabbed her paw in its jaws and bit down. Nightpaw let out a hiss of pain and clawed at its face again, forcing the fox to let go of her. She looked around the camp wildly. Where are all the warriors?!
